Arts and Crafts Festival this weekend at the SIU Arena

The eighth Annual Southern Illinois Arts and Crafts Fall Festival, sponsored by the Midwest Crafters Association, is this weekend. Hundreds of arts and crafts, along with some demonstrations and displays from regional crafters, will be at the festival and will fill 20,000 square feet. There will be purchase items on hand such as woodcarvings, hand-painted items, embroidered fabrics, candles, homemade fudge and more.

It will also feature handmade quilts form across the Southern Illinois region. There will be a Kids Corner where children can make arts and crafts to take home. Customers can also register for hourly giveaways. Admission is $2 for the event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday at the SIU Arena. Parking is free.
