Sorry Charlie is sorry
Dear Editor:
First of all, Sorry Charlie is sorry. He is lame!!! If he were my friend - wait a minute, he would not be my friend. This girl that is a "friend" of his shouldn't be anymore. Sounds like he has no sympathy for her.
Charlie, why don't you put yourself in her place? Hold on, you can't because you will never be violated that way. How can you even presume to tell what you call "chicks" to quit wearing skirts! So we are supposed to stop wearing skirts so we won't be raped? Well, somebody should have told us this a long time ago. And girls need to "lay off the juice?" What about guys? Are they allowed to drink? How about for a minute you think of another alternative. How about GUYS QUIT RAPING GIRLS? How about that one? This society always blames the victims. How about we blame the sickos who commit this heinous crime?
If I go to the bar, wear a skirt and have a few drinks with friends, then I'm to blame if I guy takes it too far? That is ridiculous! I should have the freedom to wear whatever I want and not be violated. Granted, I should be careful. I should be responsible. I should stick with friends, and I should not accept drinks from guys I don't know. That is a good strategy for prevention, but the fact remains that the perpetrators are the culprits - not girls wearing skirts. Maybe you should point that finger of judgment at yourself and reevaluate what kind of friend you are.
A "Skirt-wearing chick" who doesn't deserved to be raped.
