Courageous Conservative answers columnist's questions
To the editor:
Ms. LeNie Adolphson asked in her column Tuesday if any courageous Conservatives could answer some questions for her, so I'll try.
First she quotes Sen. Kennedy who said the case for the war was "a fraud made up in Texas."
Question: Is this the same Sen. Kennedy who said in Sept. 2002, "We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction."
Answer: Yes.
Question: Will they still believe Saddam Hussein posed an imminent threat to the United States?
I'll let Sen. John F. Kerry answer this one. "I will be voting to give the president of the United States the authority to use force ˘ if necessary ˘ to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security" (Oct. 9, 2002).
Perhaps would you prefer Al Gore's answer, "We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country" (Sept. 23, 2002).
Question: Who will start to demand a serious investigation?
Answer: See answers one and two if you can call anything they have to say serious.
And finally, question: Will we march in the streets as protestors in London to demand an end to the lies?
Answer: No, we have uhhh?jobs, and have to? like?uhhh?work.
