The Daily Egyptian is published by the students of SIU at Carbondale. Except during vacations and exam weeks, The Daily Egyptian is published Monday through Friday during the fall and spring semesters and TWThF during the summer semester."

Student Art presented at John A. Logan College

The John A. Logan College Museum and the College's Humanities Department are presenting the annual Student Art Exhibition through May 11. Student works include sculptures, drawings, paintings, computer art and ceramics. Awards for first, second, and third place will be announced at a public reception at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Student Activities lobby.

The exhibit can be viewed during building hours, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. It is located in three areas: at the front of the College near O'Neill Auditorium, on the second floor,
