Man to speak about the Steady State Revolution tonight
A speech titled "The Corruption of Economics Versus The Steady State Revolution" will be presented by Brian Czech of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service at 7 p.m. tonight in the Law School Auditorium. Czech will outline a transition to a steady state economy called the Steady State Revolution, a combination of social, political, and economic forces.
He argues that the transition may be painful, but there may never be a time in history when it will be less painful. He argues that the failure to make a transition will result in the most painful outcome of all.
Czech will also be signing copies of his book after the lecture. The book is entitled "Shoveling Fuel for A Runaway Train: Errant Economists, Shameful Spenders, and a Plan to Stop Them All."
