The musical "Chicago," which has opened to rave reviews and is considered the front runner for this year's Oscars, led the pack in Tuesday's announced nominations with 13 nods. Other items of note: Julianne Moore received dual nominations in both the best actress and supporting actress categories, and Jack Nicholson, receiving his 12th nomination for "About Schmidt," is poised to tie Audrey Hepburn's record of four Oscar wins.
The Oscar ceremony will be broadcast Sunday, March 23. Steve Martin will host.
