Correction

In last week's Pulse edition, the article This Guy's punk roots are hardcore should not have been worded in a way as to imply that John Spomer identified the Sons of Liberty as a white supremacy band.

It was not the intention of either the Daily Egyptian or Spomer to contribute to any notion that the Sons of Liberty is a white supremacy band, and band members wish to tell the public that the Sons of Liberty has no affiliation with or inclination toward a white supremacist ideology.

The Daily Egyptian regrets the error.
