Chancellor Walter Wendler not offered job in Texas

Flavius Killebrew, provost and vice president for academic affairs at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, was chosen unanimously Wednesday as the president of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

SIUC Chancellor Walter Wendler was one of four finalists for the position, but was not chosen by the Texas university's Board of Regents during its morning meeting.
